Celebrating the Opening of Our New Wokingham HQ 

On 9th January, we celebrated a significant milestone: the grand opening of our new office.  Our HQ in Wokingham is now home to both the Lifetime Legal and Smart Compliance teams.  

The day wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our Senior Management and People Teams. Special thanks go to Rob Sendall, Sarah Sendall, Gary Tutt, William Sendall, Dave Pye, Joanna Sendall, Maryam Ali, Donna Dooler, Daniel Hammerton and Helena Foster, who worked tirelessly over the Christmas holidays to ensure the space was ready to welcome our staff. 

A New Chapter for Our Teams 

During the opening speech, our CEO, Rob Sendall, spoke about the significance of this new space, saying: “This new office is a reflection of the incredible work we’ve done together and the bright future we’re building. It’s a space for growth, innovation, and collaboration, our foundation for continued success.” 

Highlights of the Day 

The event began with a speech from Rob Sendall, who reflected on how far we’ve come and the exciting future ahead. This was followed by an awards ceremony celebrating the outstanding contributions of our team. The award winners were as follows: 

• Top Salesperson: Emma Redley & Ben Glasbey 

• Customer First: Jo Russell 

• Learning is Power: Joe Nicholls 

• Best Newcomer: Lauren Stephens 

• Leadership: Hassnain Ali 

• Dreamwork = Teamwork: Ben Glasbey, Daisy Watts, Daniel Hammerton 

• Above & Beyond: Owen Kelly 

• Collaborator: Donna Dooler 

Staff then enjoyed a delicious Thai street food lunch, while massage therapists were on hand throughout the day to provide relaxing treatments for the team. 

Feedback from the Team 

Donna Dooler, Senior HR Advisor and winner of the ‘Collaborator Award’ reflected on the day “It’s incredibly refreshing to see the entire work community come together in this vibrant new space. It has brought a renewed sense of positivity and collaborative energy that inspires us all.” 

Jaidan, Senior Team Leader of the Compliance Team, summed up the feeling of the day beautifully: “The new office feels like an exciting step forward for us. It’s inspiring to be part of a team that values our growth and celebrates our achievements. Today was a perfect example of what makes this place so special.” 

Maryam Ali, HR Assistant also enjoyed the day and commented, “Teamwork is really the heart of great achievement, and I truly felt that when we were all together on our big opening day. Hearing what we have all achieved – together and individually, made me realise how awesome we are and what a great company we work for!” 

Looking Ahead 

The opening of our new office celebrates our journey so far and offers an inspiring glimpse into the future. It shows how much we value our people, our goals, and the shared vision we’re working towards. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day so memorable and to all our teams for their ongoing hard work and dedication.
